Chris Wade
Chris Wade, CEO and Executive Chairman of the Board
Chris Wade was named CEO of ShoZu in June 2009 after serving on the company’s board of directors since 2002. Wade was an early investor in the company and became executive chairman of the board in 2008.
Wade began his technology career in 1982 at Nortel Networks, where he served as senior vice president of public networks. He left Nortel in 1997 to become managing director at DSC, where he ran the company’s international business until it was sold to Alcatel for $4 billion. Wade then co-founded and served as CEO of Cambridge Positioning Systems, where he spent nine years, until its acquisition by CSR.
Since 2007, Wade also has worked with several start-ups in the mobile industry, including ShoZu, Manbujia, China’s first IP roaming billing company, and Mobile Acuity, a U.K.-based mobile image-recognition company. He also serves on the board of Intralink, a sales agency company based in San Francisco, Shanghai and Tokyo.
Wade is a frequent speaker at major technology events, most recently Cambridge University’s Wireless Innovators conference, GP Bullhound’s Innovations in Social Networking conference and Mobile World Congress.
Jennifer Grenz
Jennifer Grenz, Vice President of Products and Marketing
Jennifer Grenz is vice president of products and marketing at ShoZu, where she’s responsible for all strategic marketing functions, including product marketing, partner marketing and marketing communications. Grenz also manages ShoZu’s roadmap, including feature definition and scope, a role that includes researching the industry, monitoring competitors and analyzing consumer feedback.
Grenz joined ShoZu in June 2006 from S&S Public Relations, where she was a senior account executive managing 18 accounts. At S&S, Grenz organized more than 30 industry trade shows for clients and secured press coverage in major media outlets. Grenz’s career began at Procter & Gamble, where her roles included designing advertising programs and spearheading a new IT-sourcing strategy.
Grenz is a frequent speaker at major technology events such as Billboard MECCA, Mobile World Congress and Tech Crunch.
Graham French
Graham French, Vice President of Engineering and Operations
Graham French is vice president of engineering and operations, leading multiple engineering teams on projects such as developing scalable server solutions to the development and end-to-end testing of mobile clients. He is also responsible for the ShoZu service’s day-to-day operations and service-level agreements, as well as working with the company’s partners and customers to plan and implement services.
French joined ShoZu in June 2003 as a server engineer, gained promotion to server architect shortly after and was promoted to his current position in January 2007. He has 11 years' experience in software development, including eight in mobile platforms. Before ShoZu, French was technology team leader at Digital Rum. His career began at the U.K.'s National Physical Laboratory, where he was a research scientist.
Simon Cooper
Simon Cooper Chief Financial Officer
As ShoZu's CFO, Simon is qualified as a Chartered Accountant and has dedicated much of his career to providing financial and operational expertise to start-ups. Simon oversees the HR and IT functions as well as the finance of the business.
