Installing the ShoZu application on your phone
The ShoZu phone application is available to you for free.
We send you one standard SMS text message. If your mobile service provider normally charges you to receive SMS messages then these will be charged at your standard rate and will appear on your mobile phone bill.
If you don’t already have ShoZu installed on your phone, you will need to download the set-up file which, depending on your phone, is around 300~750kB. Depending on your mobile service tariff/bundle you may or may not incur a one-off cost, billed by your network operator for this. For many users this download is free.
Using the ShoZu phone application
The cost of using the ShoZu phone application depends on your mobile service tariff/bundle and how you use the service.
However, there are a few things you can do to reduce costs. You can:
| Set a download limit: Set a monthly limit to the amount of data ShoZu downloads. |
| Web quality photo uploads: Set ShoZu to reduce the size of the photos you upload to 'web quality'. |
| Use WiFi: ShoZu can be set to transfer data over WiFi whenever it's in range. |
