Adding sites and email addresses

AddSites Add sites and email addresses to ShoZu

Adding sites and email addresses allows you to send your photos and videos as well as download content feeds (if supported by the site and your phone). You can add site using ShoZu on your phone, but its easier to do in from the web.

Note: Picasa, Blogger and Faces must be added from your computer (other sites may be added from your phone if it supports this feature).

Just follow these steps:

  1. Go to www.shozu.com on your computer
  2. Sign in with your ShoZu username and password
  3. Click Add sites
  4. Select a site from the list
  5. Enter the required details and click Ok
  6. Open ShoZu on your phone
  7. From the menu select Check for updates

The updates you made at www.shozu.com will now appear on your phone.

Note: When adding some sites from the phone, an additional authorization step may be required, like clicking a link in an email. If you didn't get the email, check your junk mail. Or just log into ShoZu to establish the site's link to ShoZu.

AddSites Add sites and email addresses from your phone

Adding sites and email addresses allows you to send your photos and videos as well as download content feeds (if supported by the site and your phone). You can add them right from your phone at any time without being near a computer:

This applies to ShoZu 3.X only.
  1. Open ShoZu
  2. Click Share-It
  3. Click Destinations
  4. Select Add new destination from the menu
  5. Select a site
  6. Enter the required details
  7. Save

You're done! Add as many sites as you like.

Note: ShoZu will verify your usernames and passwords in the background for a moment then the site will be ready to use. If your login is rejected you can select the site from your list to try again.

Adding email addresses stores them so that you can easily send to them again in future:

  1. Open ShoZu
  2. Click Share-It
  3. Click Destinations
  4. Select Add new destination from the menu
  5. Select Email
  6. Enter the required details
  7. Save

Destination name - give it a display name that will appear in your list
To email address - the recipient's address
Your email address - who the email will appear from

Add as many addresses as you like.
This applies to ShoZu 4.0 only.
  1. Open ShoZu
  2. Click Add sites
  3. Select the site you wish to add
  4. Enter the requested details (username and password needed for uploading)
  5. Save

You're done! Add as many sites as you like.

Note: ShoZu will verify your usernames and passwords in the background (CheckingDetails) and let you know when they're ready (Authenticated). If your login is rejected (AuthFailed) you can select the site from your list to try again.

Note: Some sites support only photos, some support only videos. ShoZu will only list the supported media for each site.

This applies to ShoZu Java edition for BlackBerry phones only.

You can add sites right from your phone at any time without being near a computer:

  1. Open ShoZu
  2. Click Destinations
  3. From the menu, select Add Destinations
  4. Select a site
  5. Enter the required details
  6. Save

You're done! Add as many sites as you like.

Note: ShoZu will verify your usernames and passwords and then the site will be ready to use. If your login is rejected you can select the site from your list to try again.

Adding email addresses stores them so that you can easily send to them again in future:

  1. Open ShoZu
  2. Click Destinations
  3. From the menu, select Add Destinations
  4. Select Email as a destination
  5. Enter the required details
  6. Save

Destination name - give it a display name that will appear in your list
To email address - the recipient's address
Your email address - who the email will appear from

Add as many addresses as you like.

AddSites Add 'CC' sites to send to multiple places at the same time

You can send to multiple sites and email addresses at the same time with just one upload by adding 'CC' sites. A great way to save money and time.

  1. Go to www.shozu.com on your computer
  2. Sign in with your ShoZu username and password
  3. Click Select CC sites and follow the instructions

Now whenever you send photos and videos they will be automatically delivered to your CC sites in the background as well. You can add up to 10 CC sites. CC sites will not appear on your phone.

Tip: You can enter unlimited email addresses for every email CC site you add.

Tip: Use CC to back everything up to email as you send.

MyAccount What is my username and password?

To access www.shozu.com on your computer or within Safari you will need your username and password. If you have not created a login we have made a temporary one for you, here's how to find it:

  • From the Go to menu, choose Sign-in details or, if you don't see this, then choose Settings and then Account details/My Account
  • From the Go to menu, choose Sign-in details or, if you don't see this, then choose Settings and then Account details/My Account

This applies to ShoZu 4.0 Java edition only.

  • From the Go to menu, choose Sign-in details or, if you don't see this, then choose Settings and then Account details/My Account

This applies to ShoZu 4.0 for iPhones only.

  • You can find it by simply opening ShoZu on your phone and clicking the Transfer button at the bottom of the screen.

For Samsung users:

To view your ShoZu username and password on a Samsung phone with ShoZu pre-loaded:

  1. In Idle mode, press OK/Menu
  2. Select Settings
  3. Choose Application settings
  4. Select MobileBlog settings
  5. Open the Account details screen
  6. Your ShoZu username and password will appear. (Your password will be hidden after you sign-in to ShoZu.com.)
