Check for ZuCast updates automaticallyShoZu on your phone automatically connects to check for updates to your subscribed ZuCasts at least once per day. You may notice your phone making an Internet connection when this occurs. Note that ShoZu only automatically checks for updates if you are subscribed to one or more ZuCasts and all ZuCasts are not suspended. It is possible for you to change the automatic download times. Please note however, that adding more automatic download times will increase your Internet usage. Unless you are on a flat-rate data plan, you will have additional data charges from your carrier / network operator. To change automatic download times:
Limit ZuCast downloadsIn order to help you control your data costs, ShoZu allows you to set a personal weekly download limit. If the size of downloaded files exceeds this limit, ShoZu will stop downloading new ZuCast items and give you an option to continue. To change your weekly download limit:
Note! If your download limit is too small, ZuCast downloads might often be stopped because this limit is reached. Suspend ZuCast updatesYou can temporarily suspend any ZuCast. While suspended, a ZuCast will not be checked for updates and no new files will be downloaded. To suspend a ZuCast:
To resume a suspended ZuCast:
Note! Automatic download times are temporarily disabled if you suspend all ZuCasts. They will restart after one or more ZuCasts are resumed. Your phone stores ZuCast files temporarily, although it is possible to save ZuCast files permanently. When a ZuCast is updated older ZuCast files may be automatically deleted from your phone to make space. "Memory usage" values take this into account. "Memory usage" values change regularly as the types of files contained in ZuCast updates (videos are larger than photos) and the number of ZuCast files stored on the phone vary greatly week to week.
